About the Course

Description

This course introduces students to Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop software that is used prominently in the apparel design industry. Skills developed in this course will help students better navigate the two programs, creating technical sketches in Illustrator and learning photo manipulation and layers in Photoshop. Projects include basic technical drawings of various garments, colorization, moodboards, and photo manipulation in order to create a final “Mini Collection” that can be used in the student’s portfolio. This course helps lay the foundation for industry-specific software and formatting.
